It used to be that if a person didn’t graduate from high school, their lives were going to go downhill from there. These days life is a little more flexible, although it still holds true that to hold a decent job you need the bare minimum of a high education. Luckily, the rise of the digital age has brought about resources to help those who didn’t graduate obtain a high diploma online. Additionally, receiving an online diploma offers teenagers a chance to obtain a high education away from the traditional setting and to work at a pace that suits them. Whatever the reasons for getting a high diploma online, there are certain things everyone needs to be aware of beforehand.

The importance of a high diploma cannot be emphasized enough. There have been numerous studies conducted which show that the average salaries of individuals with a high diploma are much greater than those who do not possess a diploma. Additionally, diploma will give you a great sense of accomplishment and achievement. Because of the impact a high diploma can have on your life, it is important to fully understand and research the kind of high degrees the internet has to offer. By taking the time to properly educate yourself about online high diplomas, you will obtain a diploma that not only helps you financially, but also provides you with a sense of pride.

When searching for an online high school, it’s important to avoid being misled by outrageous claims and boldfaced lies. Receiving an online diploma isn’t a one-night deal; it takes work and dedication just like receiving a traditional high diploma would. When choosing a to study from, there are usually two options including public internet schools and private internet schools. Either will allow students to acquire an online diploma, but there are certain advantages and disadvantages to each that you should look into before deciding on a that’s right for your needs.

In the case of private internet schools, these institutions are generally not regulated by the government. Because of this, each is allowed to adopt their own rules and regulations throughout the learning process. Obtaining a high diploma through a private will vary in cost from to school, but it’s generally very high because you are responsible for every cost of your education. As with any school, be sure to check if the particular institution you’re interested in applying to is accredited by the proper accreditation boards. Otherwise, your online diploma may not be accepted as proof of a high graduate.

The penultimate lecture of the course is available via streaming media. We will discuss various software tools that should be in a webmaster's toolbox -- especially those involving link checking and log analysis.

Assignment 6: HTTP and the Apache HTTP Server
Assignment 6 is now available. The assignment has two major parts: the first is using HTTP; the second is using .htaccess files to customize the behavior of the Apache HTTP server. This assignment is very different from previous ones -- take a look at it now and begin it early! A careful review of the lecture notes should be a tremendous help in completing this assignment.
